THE SPANISH CIVIL WAR SHELTERS / LOS REFUGIOS DE LA GUERRA CIVIL ESPAÑOLA
ENGLISH:
The Spanish Civil War shelters were built by the local architect, Guillermo Langle Rubio, in 1938. They could give refuge to citizens during the bombing raids by the National Side. Nowadays, a museum has been set up and it recreates the events from that period. Documents and objects from this times can be seen during the visit, as well as an operating theatre used during the attacks.
