THE SHOPS STREET / LA CALLE DE LAS TIENDAS

The Calle de las Tiendas (Shops Street) is a typical Muslim street of the city, which led to the Camino de Pechina (Pechina Road). It is located right in the old quarter of the city. Narrow and sinuous, it was the commercial street in the XVI century. The Judería (Jewish quarter) was close to it.

Es una típica calle musulmana que llevaba hasta el camino de Pechina. Está situada en pleno casco histórico. Es estrecha y sinuosa. Era calle comercial y de lencería. Cerca estaba la Judería.
