THE JAYRÁN WALLS / LAS MURALLAS DE JAYRÁN
ENGLISH:
The Jayrán walls descend from the Alcazaba to the north through the Barranco de la Hoya and reaching the Cerro de San Cristóbal. They were constructed in the XI century. In Cerro de San Cristobal we find the remains of a Christian castle fortification. It is the best viewpoint to the city and the sea. We also find the image of Corazón de Jesús, built in 1930.

Desciende desde la Alcazaba a través del Barranco de la Hoya, y llega hasta el Cerro de San Cristóbal. En dicho cerro nos encontramos con los restos de un castillo fortificado cristiano. Es el mejor mirador de la ciudad. En él se encuentra la imagen del Corazón de Jesús.
